AS MUCH as I dislike Jeremy Clarkson and his pathetic “let’s just destroy the planet and not let the liberals spoil our fun” posturing, you can’t argue that himself, Richard Hammond and James May have turned what used to be a dull car programme about nought to sixties into some proper boys’ own adventures.
This two-disc set features two of their most famous films, the controversial Polar Special, here in director’s cut, and the road trip across the American Deep South where they barely escape with their lives.
